I did a half marathon distance run for the first time today so please forgive me for the brevity of this post and the crapness of this script.
Listening to an Empire Film podcast with Taika Waititi I heard him speak about his writing process and how often he will just start to write two characters talking with each other and see where it goes. I thought I would give that a go. Now, I am usually good at random improvised conversations because I do them with myself a lot when I am alone because I like to start things and see where they go. I had no idea where this story was going and to be honest I had no idea how to end it. Nowadays there are certain angles and places I just won't and some of my instincts are still that of a 18-21 year old (especially when I am tired). I am still trying to combat that in many areas and it takes time to develop more mature writing and story instincts.
Heres to a better day tomorrow! (I feel I've said that too often).
