I must say I am pretty chuffed that I have actually been able to write thirty scripts in thirty days but tremendously relieved that it is over! I will do a full reflection in the coming days but here is the one for today.
The two final offerings are both short but both give me stuff to work on. The first is based on the quote, "backbiting quencheth the light of the heart" and I was also inspired by a dream my sister had. In the dream she saw a man who was backbiting about someone and behind him the Guardian of the Baha'i faith was shouting at him to stop but the man could not hear. Sounded pretty powerful and I remember writing it down on my phone as a potential idea for a short film. Now, what I have written is not exactly that and I tried to be a little bit more creative with it and this idea that we all have a light radiating from us and that backbiting will directly cause that light to die out the more we do it. Would work best as an animation for sure.
The second short I wrote today was really just a re telling of something funny that happened to me today. I got home from work and encountered a man from Pimlico plumbers in the garden. He came into the kitchen on his way to the van and he literally watched tv with me for a few minutes. It was all rather odd but nice in some ways. I wrote it down in the form of a script because I think there is a funny story that can be developed further.
My next and final blog post will be my full reflection of this whole process. At this point I am so tired because it is 1:57am and I know this post here is crap. I may need to go through this and all the posts to go over grammar and clean up my writing because I've done so many late night ones.
But, to conclude at this point: I did it... 30/30 done. Stay tuned for full reflections.
